Wholesale Broadband from as little as £6.85 (subject to taking line)!! November 3rd, 2009 by Ed Cole

We are very pleased to launch our Value Line & Broadband packages. This service is provided over a fully LLU enabled network, meaning that we supply the broadband and the line together. Being a full LLU service means that the supply chain is minimised and we have the ability to provision and fault manage lines and broadband directly, making for a very responsive service. Please note that minimum terms on all orders are 12 months. For those that are new to telecoms it is a very straightforward process to add this to your portfolio, and we make it easy to invoice. More information available on request.

BT pledge 24Mb to 75% of the country by 2011 October 6th, 2009 by Ed Cole

BT have announced their plans for expanding their 21st Century Network, known as 21CN, to more of the country.

Current deployment is to around 40% of the population and they aim to extend this to around 55% of homes and businesses by Spring 2010, and 75% by Spring 2011 depending on customer demand.

The extension of 21CN out to more exchanges will mean more users will be able to get broadband at up to 24Mb (BT estimate 20 million homes and businesses) and the roll out of next-generation fibre services such as fibre to the home/cabinet can expand to these areas also.

There is of course a caveat. As ever, not everyone will see speeds of up to this 24Mb as they are heavily dependent on distance to the exchange.
