Our shared hosting platform offers a flexible and resilient service.

Our high spec servers are located in a state of the art data centre. The servers are mirrored and externally backed up.

Features:

  • Plesk - our servers use the widely accepted and industry standard Parallels Plesk platform. This gives you full control of your account and any child accounts you may have. Although Plesk is a very powerful tool, it is easy to use and logically set out. From creating/editing email accounts to administering MySQL databases, Plesk is an ideal solution.
  • DNS Management - The Plesk system gives you full DNS control. You are able to change the customers MX or A records without contacting us, e.g. if a customer wants to have e-mail delivered to their on site exchange server, this can be setup on Plesk.
  • PHP 5 - our servers run the latest PHP version 5 scripting language for increased functionality and performance.
  • MX Backup - If a customer has an on-site exchange server that handles their e-mail we can setup the DNS so that if the server went down the e-mails would be backed-up to our servers. When the customer's server is back up and running the e-mail will be delivered, as opposed to the mail being returned to the sender.
  • SpamGate System - A bespoke Spam system is integrated into our servers. By using a combination of RBL Blacklists, Spamassassin, ClamAV, Custom Rulesets, Bayesian Filtering, Greylisting, Nolisting and specific management we have successfully implemented an e-mail SPAM filter that clears over 95% of SPAM before it gets to the customer. This has also reduced our server load allowing us to run our servers more efficiently, thus providing a better service.
  • SMTP - all our services come with outgoing smtp. SMTP Roaming is also available on request.

Dedicated Hosting/Co-Location

Should shared hosting not be an ideal solution for you, we can fully manage your own dedicated server. Our involvement can be dictated by yourself. We can take care of the whole process, from purchasing the hardware to installing and managing your server(s).
